I grew to be very fond of him. I hadn't wanted marriage, I hadn't wanted children. But I fell in love with him and I came to trust him completely. I slowly began to believe it was possible to create a happy, normal life with him. I accepted that the challenges we faced, and overcoming them together, were part of growing together in a relationship. It was hard, but I held firm. My confession is that I was wrong.
